FOXES Magazine: When were you scouted and how?
Zach Norton: I was scouted around Easter this year, after my friend persuaded me to visit London for the day. I think we were near Soho when Patrick ( now my agent at AMCK models ) came up and spoke to us and managed to convince me to join the agency.
FOXES: Other than modeling what else do you pursue creatively (music, film, art)?
Zach: I've been drumming since I was about 10. I love it! I am in an Oasis and The Smiths cover band called Oasmith. My dream would be to tour the world in a band with my mates. I enjoy photography too.
FOXES: Do you have a favorite band/musician?
Zach: I can't say just one! My favourite band of all time would probably be The Red Hot Chilli Peppers. I listen to them everyday. My favourite new band at the moment is Catfish and the Bottlemen, both their albums are amazing and I'm seeing them for the second time in a few months.
FOXES: Are you reading anything at the moment?
Zach: At the moment I'm reading "Scar Tissue" a biography by Anthony Kiedis (the singer in the Red Hot Chilli Peppers) for the second time. Apart from the Heroin obviously, he's led the coolest life.
FOXES: What's something people may not know about you?
Zach: I love pink shoes! My aim is to have only pink shoes because they are so cool and pink! Kind of weird I guess but hey.
FOXES: Do you remember the first record/CD you ever bought or that was given to you?
Zach: I don't remember the first CD, but the first vinyl record I ever bought was 'A Flourish and a Spoil' by a band called 'The Districts.' Not many people know about them at the moment, but I really like them so I bought their record 3 months before I had a record player to play it.
FOXES: Do you remember your first concert?
Zach: The first concert I really remember is Muse on The Second Law tour at the Emirates Stadium in 2011. It was amazing! No one does live shows like Muse. The first concert I actually went to was Mc Fly at the BIC. I can't remember the year. I think I was about 8 or 9, but I went with my dad and we ended up leaving half way through because he kept complaining it was too loud. Now I seem to spend all my money on gigs, but it is definitely worth it.
FOXES: If you could change anything about the state of things in the world, what would it be?
Zach: I would say something like wanting world peace or an end to poverty, but it's never going to happen. So I would probably change the fact that Freddos are now 25p each. Ridiculous!
